Sports betting at VegasNow: tabs, slips and the rules behind them

Our sportsbook lives under the Sports tab of your VegasNow account, sharing one balance and one cashier with the casino. Here we cover the four betting areas, how single, express and system bets pay out with real decimal arithmetic, the 100% up to A$200 sports offer, the x3 deposit rule, cash-out, stake ceilings and the checks before a payout. Betting is 18+ only and works best with a limit set first.

Which licence sits behind a VegasNow bet

The sportsbook has no separate operator or licence. It runs under licence OGL/2024/164/0246 from the Curaçao Gaming Authority, granted to Just Entertainment B.V. (company number 160603) on 13 August 2024 and listed as Active. One record covers casino and sport, so the account rules, the cashier and the protection tools are shared.

It also means VegasNow is not an Australian-licensed wagering provider, which changes how national self-exclusion works for you (the limits section below explains). Check the holder and approved domains on the Curaçao validator, or read the record field by field on our licensing page.

Sports, In-Play, Virtual Sports and Esports at VegasNow

The four areas share one slip and one balance, but they behave differently once money is on.

Sports

Pre-match markets on fixtures yet to start, sorted by competition, with Top leagues and Upcoming views.

In-Play

Events already under way. Prices move with the play, and a bet can be declined if the odds shift before acceptance.

Virtual Sports

Simulated events that generate their own outcomes, unconnected to any real fixture.

Esports

Video-game matches with game-specific settlement, such as how a CS2 map is graded if a player loses connection or a side withdraws.

The Sportsbook Rules hold settlement sections for around 40 sports: AFL (Australian Rules), both rugby codes, cricket, netball, tennis, golf, basketball, soccer, motor racing, combat sports such as boxing and UFC, darts and snooker among them, plus horse and greyhound racing under their own racing rules. Those sections explain grading only; they do not say which AFL or NRL games are priced this weekend, so open the tab to see what is live.

Reading the slip: single, express and system

Our rules use European labels, so here is the translation:

Slip labelEveryday nameWhat has to happen for a return
SingleStraight betYour one selection wins. Return equals stake times odds.
ExpressMulti or parlayEvery selection wins. The odds are multiplied into one price.
SystemCombination betYour picks are split into smaller multis, so some lines can pay when one pick misses.

Two limits on multis

  • Related selections. Different events from one match, or two bets on one player across a single tournament, cannot share an express or system bet. If such a slip is accepted anyway, the stake is returned.
  • Group bets. Repeated bets on the same outcomes by the same or linked customers are not permitted and may be reviewed.

Worked example: A$7.50 placed three ways on the same picks

Take three selections: an AFL head-to-head at 1.60, an NRL match at 2.30 and a tennis match at 1.40. Decimal odds include your stake, and these prices are invented for the arithmetic. Outlay is A$7.50 in every version, and no line exceeds A$8.

StructureHow the A$7.50 is splitAll three winThe 2.30 pick losesThe 1.40 pick loses
SinglesA$2.50 on each pickA$13.25 back (A$5.75 profit)A$7.50 back (level)A$9.75 back (A$2.25 profit)
ExpressA$7.50 at 1.60 × 2.30 × 1.40 = 5.152A$38.64 back (A$31.14 profit)Nothing back (A$7.50 lost)Nothing back (A$7.50 lost)
System, 2 from 3A$2.50 on each of three doublesA$22.85 back (A$15.35 profit)A$5.60 back (A$1.90 lost)A$9.20 back (A$1.70 profit)

The three doubles are 1.60 × 2.30 = 3.68 (A$9.20), 1.60 × 1.40 = 2.24 (A$5.60) and 2.30 × 1.40 = 3.22 (A$8.05). The express has the biggest top line, yet one wrong pick wipes out all A$7.50. Singles soften a miss and pay least when everything lands; the system sits between. The slip shows each system line and its cost before you confirm.

When a leg is voided

The rules grade a voided selection at odds of 1, so it drops out of the multiplication. Had the NRL match been voided, the express price would fall to 1.60 × 1.40 = 2.24, and a winning A$7.50 ticket would return A$16.80.

VegasNow Sports Welcome Offer and Lucky Score & Spin

The sports Promotions page carries the Sports Welcome Offer, a 100% match capped at A$200, beside a "Deposit and Bet now!" button; the Sports landing page labels the same deal a 100% Free Bet, again capped at A$200. Separate offer terms decide how the amount lands in your account, what odds and markets are eligible and at what point any of it can be withdrawn.

Qualifying deposit100% headline valueWhy
A$110A$110Matched in full, under the cap
A$200A$200The largest deposit matched in full
A$320A$200Capped, so the extra A$120 is not matched

That is the headline only; minimum odds or a rollover may sit in the offer's own terms.

Our casino welcome package (as much as A$8,000 with 500 free spins over four deposits) only works on casino and live games, and its terms bar it from sport. Its 40× wagering and A$8 bet cap belong to that document; see the welcome bonus page for those stages. Bet on Sports Weekly: Lucky Score & Spin also appears on the sports Promotions page as a free-spins reward for sports bets, though without full conditions.

The x3 deposit rule, counted bet by bet

Rule 2.2 of the Sportsbook Rules requires each deposit to be turned over three times ("wager x3") unless something else is stated. The count takes in bets that were accepted and then settled, winners and losers alike; a cancellation or a refunded stake adds nothing. Request a withdrawal before the figure is reached and it can be refused. Our general terms (version 2.3) hold a matching rule, where a non-wagered withdrawal can be refused or charged a processing fee.

Worked example: an A$65 card deposit

A$65 × 3 = A$195 in settled stakes. A ledger that reaches it with small bets:

BetsStake eachOutcomeCountsRunning total
15 singlesA$8SettledA$120A$120
1 pre-match single taken after the startA$7Voided at odds of 1A$0A$120
1 single with the stake refundedA$6RefundedA$0A$120
15 express betsA$5SettledA$75A$195

The target measures turnover, not profit: the balance could finish up, level or down. And the A$13 on the voided and refunded bets never moved the count, so look for those before asking for a payout.

Funding and withdrawing a VegasNow sports balance

Casino and sport share one cashier, so the AU payment tables apply to both:

MethodDepositsWithdrawals
Visa / MastercardA$30 to A$10,000Not listed
MiFinityA$30 to A$4,000A$30 to A$4,000 per request
CashtocodeA$25 to A$400Not listed

Crypto (BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC, XRP, DOGE and others)Per-coin minimumsPer-coin ranges, e.g. 20 to 4,000 USDT

PayID, POLi and Neosurf are not in the AU cashier. Methods must be in your own name, the checked terms cap withdrawals at A$6,000 a day, A$12,000 a week and A$42,000 a month (UTC periods), and large sums may arrive in instalments. The Sportsbook Rules add that no withdrawal is processed until the account is fully verified, and winnings can be confiscated if a requested phone check fails because the number is wrong or the call goes unanswered. Our withdrawals page lists every coin range.

VegasNow cash-out, moving prices and stake ceilings

SituationWhat the rules say
Cash-outOffered on some markets to settle before the result; not on certain two-outcome markets. If it was used on a market where it should not have been offered, the bet can be recalculated.
Odds move as you betThe slip flags the change and may wait for your agreement. An "Accept odds change" setting skips that step, so leave it off in In-Play if you want to see each new price.
Maximum stakeSet per sport, event and market, changeable without notice; individual account limits can apply without explanation.
Late pre-match betsA pre-match bet taken after kick-off may be voided at odds of 1, so only the stake comes back.
Changing your mindA registered bet cannot be cancelled by the player.
Rule updatesPlacing a bet accepts the rules in force then. They may be updated without telling you personally, and a bet already on keeps the terms it was struck under.

VegasNow verification: the 30-day and 180-day windows

The rules allow identity, credit and video checks, give as long as 30 days to check documents and as long as 180 days to look back over your betting, and let the sportsbook ask where funds came from, for example through bank statements. Several players betting from one IP address, computer or local network is not allowed, and linked accounts can be blocked with their bets cancelled.

Verify early

Upload documents through the secure route in your account soon after joining, before a payout is waiting.

One account each

Our terms allow one account per person unless we say otherwise.

Own-name payments

Use methods in your name and keep statements showing where funds came from.

Current phone number

A wrong number or a missed verification call can put winnings at risk.

Betting within limits: VegasNow tools, Gambling Help Online and BetStop

Sports bets use the same protection tools as casino play: deposit limits and self-exclusion inside your VegasNow account, or applied by support on request. One gap matters. Section 8.4 of our general terms leaves crypto deposits outside deposit limits, so a crypto bettor wanting a hard stop should use self-exclusion.

Gambling Help Online offers free, confidential counselling on 1800 858 858, at any hour. BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register, applies to wagering providers holding an Australian licence. Ours comes from Curaçao, so a BetStop registration on its own leaves a VegasNow account open: use our self-exclusion here, and BetStop for any Australian bookmaker accounts.

  • Decide the stake before you look at the price.
  • Cap your In-Play bets per match.
  • A losing multi is not a reason for a bigger one.

Pre-bet checklist for a VegasNow slip

  1. You know the licence, OGL/2024/164/0246, and its holder, Just Entertainment B.V.
  2. You have gone through the Sportsbook Rules plus the sports offer terms; casino bonus terms do not cover sport.
  3. You know your x3 figure: deposit times three, settled bets only.
  4. Your documents are in, since checks can take up to 30 days.
  5. Your multi holds no two selections from one match, or on one player in one tournament.
  6. You know how a void is graded in that sport and what stake ceiling the slip shows.
  7. Your "Accept odds change" setting is where you want it before going In-Play.
  8. Your planned exit fits the balance: bank transfer starts at A$300, MiFinity at A$30.
  9. A deposit limit is set, or self-exclusion is understood if you fund with crypto.

VegasNow sports betting: questions and answers

Does VegasNow take sports bets?

Yes. The Sports tab holds pre-match Sports, In-Play, Virtual Sports and Esports, with its own Promotions page and Sportsbook Rules.

Is the sportsbook licensed separately from the casino?

No. It sits on the same Curaçao licence that Just Entertainment B.V. holds, OGL/2024/164/0246. You must be 18+ to bet.

How much is the VegasNow sports welcome offer?

100% up to A$200. An A$110 deposit carries an A$110 headline, while any deposit above A$200 is capped at A$200. The offer's own terms set the rest.

Can casino bonus funds be used on sport?

No. The casino welcome package covers casino and live casino games, and its terms rule out sports bets.

What is a system bet on the VegasNow slip?

Several smaller multis made out of your selections. With three selections, a 2 from 3 system makes three doubles, so one loser can still leave a double that pays.

What happens to my express if one selection is voided?

The void is graded at odds of 1 and drops out. Picks at 1.60, 2.30 and 1.40 with the 2.30 voided become 1.60 × 1.40 = 2.24.

Do voided or refunded bets count towards the x3 rule?

No. Only bets that were accepted and then settled count, whether they won or lost.

Can I cancel a VegasNow bet after placing it?

No. A registered bet stands. Where a market offers cash-out, that is the only way to settle early.

Does BetStop cover my VegasNow account?

No. BetStop reaches Australian-licensed wagering providers, and VegasNow holds a Curaçao licence. Use our self-exclusion tool or ask support. For free help, call 1800 858 858 (Gambling Help Online).
