VegasNow responsible gambling: limits, breaks and real help
Gambling can hurt money, health and relationships. If it is affecting you or someone close to you, help is free and confidential, and this page puts that help first. It also explains the controls on your VegasNow account and what each one does.

Free, confidential support in Australia
Phone Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858, or start from its website. Medicare Mental Health describes counselling through that number as free, confidential and available 24 hours a day. The line is open to people worried about their own play and to anyone worried about a family member or friend, and you do not need a tidy explanation before you call. A counsellor can help you work out the next step. GambleAware NSW is another place to start.
Setting a deposit limit on your VegasNow account
Pick an amount and a period that fit your budget, and set it while you feel calm, not mid-session. Ask support how the limit is counted, and if you want a loss limit, ask whether one applies to your account and how losses are measured.
A worked example: A$65 a week caps deposits at A$260 over four weeks. If your four-week budget is A$220, that weekly figure is already A$40 too high, and A$55 a week fits it exactly.
Self-exclusion and closure: two different VegasNow requests
A limit, a self-exclusion and a closure do different jobs, so name the one you want. Self-exclusion can be set in your account or requested through support. Activation times can vary, so ask for written confirmation of the scope and the date it takes effect, and keep that reply. Ask too what happens to your access, any remaining balance and marketing messages. Do not mix the request with a question about an offer.
BetStop and VegasNow: what the national register covers
BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register, lets you shut yourself out of every wagering provider that holds an Australian licence. Our licence comes from Curaçao, which places VegasNow outside BetStop's reach. To stop here, self-exclude through your VegasNow account settings, or write to support and ask for it. BetStop is still worth using for Australian bookmakers.
Questions to bring to a counsellor or to support
- How can I deal with the debts, lost time or strain at home that gambling has caused?
- Which exclusion or blocking tools reach the sites and apps I actually use?
- How can I get gambling marketing to stop arriving?
- Is there support for a partner, parent or friend who is affected?
Signs to pause, and why no VegasNow bonus is a fix
Take a break if you notice any of these:
- You deposit again to win back what you lost.
- You play longer or bigger than you planned.
- You hide gambling from people close to you.
- Bills, work or sleep are slipping.
A loss is never a reason to stake more, and a bonus cannot repair one. Nobody at VegasNow should press you to keep playing. Accounts are for adults 18 and over.
VegasNow responsible gambling: common questions
Does my deposit limit cover crypto?
No. Under section 8.4 of our terms, a deposit limit does not attach to crypto payments, so ask support what controls exist for that method.
How quickly does self-exclusion start?
Timing can vary. Ask support for written confirmation of the effective date and scope.
Can I call Gambling Help Online about someone else?
Yes. The service helps family and friends as well as the person gambling.
Will BetStop block my VegasNow account?
No. It covers Australian-licensed wagering providers only. Use VegasNow's self-exclusion or contact support.
